At Rock the River, we’re more than just a bonspiel. We’re a community not-for-profit organization that brings people together each year to celebrate health, inclusivity, and local spirit — all while supporting the Heart & Stroke Foundation and KidSport Manitoba.

Founded in 2002 as Ironman Outdoor Curling, this event began as a grassroots initiative to bring together families, athletes, and volunteers through the sport to tackle Winnipeg's winters. Over the years it has grown into a flagship event, attracting over 32 teams annually and raising over $250,000 for charities, and is now known as the Rock The River Festival while it continues to grow and evolve!

Rumour's Comedy Club night on March 4

Tickets are $25. This is an 18+ event and photo ID is required. All proceeds will go towards purchasing curling rocks required to secure the future of our event.

Rock Sponsorship Program

Where individuals, teams, businesses, and anyone else can purchase a rock and handle for $250 each which will allow them to put their names or sayings onto the rock's handle to be used at our events over the next 10 or more years!
